July 2012: 8th-floor rooftop condominium installation of patio heaters by Alfresco Heating at The Montgomery Condominiums in San Francisco, California:

This was largely a gas-piping job, requiring a welded connection, 2" galvanized pipe and 2" CSST, because the patio heaters are hundreds of feet from the gas pressure regulator. The patio heaters were installed in vault boxes, so the gas valve can be hidden, and the heaters can be removed. Individual timers were installed so that the residents can turn on the heaters for an hour, but they won't stay on all night by accident.
