Introducing SunStar’s New GLASS Marine Grade Gas Infrared Patio Heaters

Alfresco Heating is proud to now carry SunStar’s new GLASS Marine Grade radiant patio heaters. Choose from two models: The SunStar SGL35 Overhead Gas Patio Heater features a black powder coating that covers the steel body and the SunStar SGL35-MG Overhead Gas Patio Heater features a marine-grade stainless steel body. Both are made in North Carolina and come with the following features and options.
Built with marine-grade (316) Stainless Steel, the SGL35-MG patio heaters are rain and wind resistant (up to 40mph) and made especially for coastal and other corrosive, harsh environments. High-temperature tainted ceramic glass technology provides additional protection on windy days and enhances the heater’s aesthetic appeal. The glass front totally encloses the burner preventing heat rollout during harsh conditions.
This line of heaters is ideal for the outdoors or partially-covered areas including bars, patios, and verandas making it a great addition for restaurants and other hospitality service industries.
Adjustable mounting brackets allow for wall mounting or suspension from the ceiling in a horizontal position or up to a 60° angle. An optional heat shield can be added to reduce clearances above the heater as low as 10 in.
Maximize the use of your outdoor seating areas during cooler evenings thanks to the radiant infrared heating that warms people and objects directly at floor level. Select either natural gas or liquefied petroleum (LP) gas options. One heater can cover about a 10 ft. by 10 ft. area with minimal wind conditions.
They have a heating capacity of 24,000 to 35,000 BTU. The burner assembly is backed by a 3-year limited warranty and the controls are backed by a 1-year limited warranty. We recommend that their installed bottom-of-heater height be 6 ft. 8 in. to 8 ft.
